The beach sanding process starts by obtaining a DEQ (Dept. of Environmental Quality) permit and any local permits required to create your SwimZone. Once the permit is in hand we can start construction. The construction process begins by strategically positioning our compact pump truck in the driveway or on the road in front of your property. This is where the sand pump delivers the sand out to the lake. Large hoses are laid out across the property from the staging area to the shore. At the lake, we layout geo-textile filter fabric that has been sewn to the specified dimensions of your project. The area to be sanded is then closed off with a turbidity curtain (floating silt fence) so that the lake does not incur any excess sediments. Once the fabric is installed and the curtain is in place, pumping operations can begin.
The beach sanding process only takes a day to complete and best of all without damaging your lawn or landscaping! The results are the perfect "SwimZone" guaranteed!
